These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the CGM Simulator Platform (“the Platform”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
The Platform is provided for education, training, and demonstration only. It simulates continuous glucose monitoring data and is not a medical device. Nothing on the Platform is medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it must not be used to make clinical decisions or to manage any person’s actual care. Always rely on qualified clinicians and approved medical devices for real patient care.
You must not enter real, identifiable patient health information into the Platform. Patient records and glucose readings are intended to be simulated or de-identified for instructional use. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with this requirement and with any laws and institutional policies that apply to you.
The Platform is intended for healthcare and educational professionals and the learners they supervise. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. Accounts may require approval by an administrator before access is granted.
You agree not to:
You retain responsibility for the records and data you create on the Platform. You grant us the limited right to store and process that data solely to operate and secure the service. You represent that your content does not include real patient health information and does not infringe the rights of others.
The Platform, including its software, design, and content provided by us, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership of the Platform. Third-party references, guidelines, and links are provided for educational convenience and remain the property of their respective owners.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time, including features and content, and we may impose limits on certain functionality. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Administrators may deactivate accounts, and we may suspend or terminate access for any conduct that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Platform or other users. You may stop using the Platform at any time.
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Simulated data does not represent any real individual and must not be treated as clinically accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform, including any reliance on simulated data. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where the Platform operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
Questions about these Terms can be directed to your site administrator, or to the Platform operator at legal@cgm-platform.local.
Reminder: this Platform is for educational and demonstration purposes only and is not a medical device. Do not use it for clinical care or enter real, identifiable patient health information. See also our Privacy Policy.
